"Lean In"
Tom Brokaw has just written an opinion piece in Lean In’s website. Sheryl Sandberg's book, Lean In, is about women and the workplace. Sandberg is the Chief Operating Officer of Facebook. Brokaw states the 21st century will be the Century of Women. What does this mean for Pink Collar Crime? Unfortunately I think it means we will continue to see more women being arrested and convicted on embezzlement charges. As more and more women are part of the workforce they will have access to funds to embezzle. According to Dr. Freda Adler it is all about access to money. I wonder if Tom Brokaw knows the statistics on women stealing from the workplace and how it has increased with more women in the workplace. Are women going to "lean in" and do even more embezzling. I am ordering the book today and will do another post after I read the book.
